Ahuriri Children's Centre
Port Ahuriri Children's Centre was purpose built by the
Rothmans Company in 1987 as a childcare facility for their
staff. Times have changed, as have we! Nestled in a quiet
street in surburban Ahuriri, we're away from the busyness
of Ahuriri's revamped shopping centre and yet close enough
for interesting walks to see fishing boats at Iron Pot, siblings
and old friends at Port Ahuriri School, Spriggs Park, and
trucks and trains. A true sense of community spirit is experienced
at Port, with much appreciated support and donations from
local businesses and residents. Families come to us from across
Hawkes Bay.

Children's Centre
City Centre is in Napier's CBD, situated between the
RSA and The Warehouse. Ideal for parents/caregivers who work
in retail or professional service businesses in the City and
an exciting, busy and varied environment for the children
with excursions in and around town, the library and the marine
parade boardwalk.
Originally designed and operated by the Crippled
Children's Society and operated for many years as their CCS
Kindergarten facility 3 days a week and a "shoppers creche"
2 days a week. The Trust took over ownership in 1991, creating
City Children's Centre, the chartered, licenced early childhood
centre we know today.
